Let The Adventure Begin...
Everyone met at the airport around 2:30 a.m. this morning (1/11/13). For some of them it was the first time meeting. It was all smiles & laughter as they prepared for their trip! They got through security without many issues & waited at their gate! Around 5 a.m. they boarded the plane for Houston, Texas. When they got there, they only had about 40 minutes to get to their gate, which was originally a concern. However, the gate ended up being right across the way from where they landed and they were there in no time! They all boarded the next flight and landed in San Pedro Sula, Honduras at 11:42 a.m. Surprisingly, ALL of their bags also made it there with them! Dago & Dilia picked them up and took them to a taco place inside of a "walmart like" store. I got the call that they were just leaving San Pedro Sula at 2:30. At 3:58 I got the call that they were all doing wonderful and almost to the children's home! They were so excited to be getting there to see all of the children, unload, and relax! I will update more tonight once I get some more pictures sent to me from the crew! Keep the team in your prayers as they begin their first evening in Honduras.
